Every visit to Hellnar we like to stay here. The hotel is fairly clean with a nice design and based in a nice building. The rooms are well-designed and new-fashioned, the beds are exceptionally comfortable. The view to both the sea and the glacier is breathtaking. The employees are all always pleasant and consistently courteous.

The venue was quirky and unique, I liked the location close to a fjord with a glacier, very good located to visit all the peninsula and the volcano, and sea views. Marvellous and magnificent location right on to the sea was a plus. Great-sized rooms, the design was beautiful. There was good choice of great options for continental breakfast.

This hotel is an amazing value for money, especially considering its location on the remote Snaefellsjoekull peninsula. The staff pays excellent attention to detail, ensuring that everything is just right for guests. Rooms with double beds are very comfy, and the balconies offer spectacular views of the coastline above the ocean. Breakfast is also included in the nightly rate and the view is unforgettable in the sunshine.
